100 Mile Diet - Cranbrook

It would be pretty difficult for most of us to follow the 100 mile diet here in Cranbrook. In the winter most of our food comes from far away but thanks to the Cranbrook Famers Market we have much better access to so many hardworking and talented local producers. Haven't been to the market yet?! Why not BBQ some South African sausage made right here in the Kootenays by Bilton Canada with some salad greens from Purcell Organics. Buy fresh veggies from Fort Steele Farms or some of the most amazing chutney made from garlic scapes by Clear Sky Meditation and Study Centre. Have a hankering for cheese then why not pick up some from Kootenay Alpine Cheese. Have a sweet tooth why not buy a pie from U Bake Pies. SOOO YUMMY!

As you stroll why not have a coffee made right in from of you by The Coffee Guy. or stop for some Bannack from the Bannack Girls. Eating, shopping, and meeting with friends. Its couldn't get much better and its all right here in Cranbrook. Buy locally
