Skiing at South Star or Skating on Victoria

Whatever your outdoor excursion this Sunday be careful as you go.

Ski conditions are good at the South Star Trails

Walking conditions are not so good in parts of town

  1. The walking path in the photo appears to have been plowed by the City sidewalk crew; however, the machines cannot avoid leaving areas of packed snow and ice. People are able to do a far better job with a shovel and should be encouraged to do so through education and community awareness. The City can continue to plow the sidewalks that cannot be maintained by homeowners. Since CLC raised this issue, everyone in my neighbourhood now shovels routinely and my husband regularly shovels out the community mailbox, too.
