Rusty and Rotary Park

Pictured is Rusty Benson who beginning to put the finishing touches to the Dedication Wall/Circle in Rotary Park.  Rusty was the carpenter who made the forms for this somewhat complicated planter which will be used for the placement of plaques awarded in recognition of contributions to the community.  A colour finish will be applied to the walls and the whole appearance softened with central planting.

Rusty and his father have been and are long time employees of the City.  It is thanks to Rusty that we now know the small drinking fountain with seventy years of history once located in Rotary Park has been safely stored in the City Works yard.  This will be good news to those who have been wondering about its whereabouts.

Thank You for all your caring work Rusty!
